Goal Setting

Goal SettingLesson 5 of 64 min read

Say it as done

Step three. Read the goals out loud five times a day, worded as though they are already true.

Step three is the daily one. You read what you wrote, out loud, in the present tense.

Out loud, not in your head

Reading the list silently is close to not reading it. Your eyes pass over the words and nothing happens.

Said out loud, you have to hear yourself claim it. That is uncomfortable at first, and the discomfort is the part that does the work.

Speaking the goal is what makes you own it.

Five times a day

Read the list at least five times a day, and read all of it, the goals and the steps.
