Module 4 named the three states of a chart. This module is about the moment one of them ends.

What a break of structure is

A break of structure is a shift in the trend.

In an uptrend the chart makes higher highs and higher lows. A break of structure is the point where that stops and lower highs and lower lows begin. It works the same way in reverse.

A break of structure (BOS) is the moment the sequence changes.

A high is a move up then a move down

The definition is mechanical, and there is no judgement in it.
